Yard sale, Liberty Methodist, 141 Liberty Circle, Mocksville, 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

BBQ & chicken pie supper, Oak Grove Methodist, 1994 US 158, Mocksville, beginning at 5 p.m. $10 take out, donations for dine in.

Community breakfast, Farmington Methodist, 1939 Farmington Rd., Mocksville, 7-10 a.m. Prok tenderloin, sausage, gravy, eggs, grits, stewed apples, biscuits, mixed fresh fruit, breakfast casserole, coffee, OJ. Donations support church ministries.

Shredding Event, 9 a.m.-noon, Bermuda Run Town Hall, 120 Kinderton Blvd. by Bermuda Run Garden Club. $5 per brown grocery bag or equivalent size box. Cash only. Proceeds to Davie County charities.

Cruise in, breast cancer awareness event, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Central Davie parking lot of MLK Jr. Rd., Mocksville. Free hotdogs. Sponsored by St. John AME Zion.

The main campus at 278 Meroney St. is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The health and fitness center at the Brock Recreation Center at 644 N. Main St. is open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Fridays.
